About the Author.
“Think, dear sir, of the world you carry within you… be it remembrance of your own childhood or longing for your own future. Only be attentive to what is arising in you, and prize it above all that you perceive around you. What happens most deeply inside you is worthy of your whole love. Work with that and don’t waste too much time and courage explaining it to other people.”
– Rainer Maria Rilke
Kinsley J. Koons is twenty-three year old kid who enjoys eavesdropping, using/defending adverbs, and getting lost. She loves playing and listening to music more than most things and will never turn down an invitation for breakfast. She graduated from Taylor University with degrees in both English Literature and Philosophy.
She is used to the question, “Well, what on earth are you going to do with that?” And her answer is currently and confidently, “I’m not sure.”
Presently, Kinsley is living in Chicago and attending DePaul University in an attempt to earn her Masters degree in English. She is a barista for Intelligentsia coffee, and she (mostly) loves learning about and making delicious beverages for people. She likes living in the city sometimes, and sometimes she wishes she lived on a farm. She reads poetry in order to simultaneously avoid and enrich reality.
She mostly likes people and would be thrilled to hear from you.
